Serial #134025, 45 caliber, A desirable Antique US Cavalry Colt single action revolver with a 7 1/2" barrel, strong markings that include its "US" frame mark and the "RAC" (Renaldo Carr") inspector's mark, above the serial number. Carr is one of the specifically sought after inspectors of these Indian Wars period Colts. The condition is good overall, with a smooth action, an even gray patina throughout and well fitting walnut grips. In particular, the grips have great character color and wear that includes what appears to be holes where Indian tacks had been.
